For the past six years we have worked closely with the Mercury Theatre, Colchester. Specialists in the Performing Arts spend one morning per week in school, focusing on one year group each half term. They work with the teaching team to create a series of theatre workshops which are closely linked to our English curriculum. The impact of this work can be evidenced in our improved writing attainment and in the increasing confidence our children display as they enthusiastically articulate links across curriculum areas.
